By State law, townships are required to review &/or update/amend their Master Plan every 5 years. The Laketon Township Planning Commission has been hard at work for some time now on this required review &/or update. You may recall receiving a community survey back in the fall of 2013, which is part of this process. The survey was sent to every residence in Laketon Township. The results of this survey were tabulated by a class of Baker College Students during their winter 2014 session. The results of the community survey are posted below for your information.
A public hearing was held by the Planning Commission on Wednesday October 8, 2014 at 6:00 PM regarding the Master Plan and the proposed updates of the document. The Master Plan document, as adopted by the Laketon Township Board of Trustees is posted below.
