Sewer & Water

Sewer & Water Basic Information

Municipal sewer service and municipal water service availability varies around the township. Some homes have just sewer, some just water, some both and some are completely on private wells and septic systems. Generally speaking, municipal sewer &/or water is located mainly in the east and southeast portions of the Laketon Township.

Roughly two-thirds of Laketon Township homes have private septic systems, not municipal sewer connections. Click Here for a Homeowner’s Guide to Septic Systems. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure – make sure you are doing everything necessary to keep and maintain a properly operating septic system!
